My father had a stock red '91 2+2 that I had saved for a year to buy from him. When the time came I had it inspected and it had a few problems, it also had 90k+ miles @ 7yrs old. So I told my dad to sell it to someone else and I started looking for another Z. I totally lucked into finding an Ad in the local paper for another '91 2+2 being sold by a 60+ yr old man who's ailing mother couldn't get in and out of the passenger seat anymore. It had just 43k miles @ 7yrs, along with intake, exhaust, ECU, rear spoiler and rear valence. Car was (still is) near-mint inside and out, with Superwhite paint. After a few black cars in Florida, I've gone for white my last two cars. White does a great job at keeping a car from becoming a mobile sauna during the vicious Florida summers. So I had it professionaly checked out, and made sure it passed emissions, then paid cash for it. One of the happiest days of my life =) Ironicly, if the owner of a local 40-yr old import shop hadn't just had a new baby, I would never have gotten the Z. The Z's owner, who had all it's maintance done at this shop, had promised to sell it to the shop owner !
